Tesco's Hudl Tablet became an instant hit when it was launched in 2013. Over 50,000 of the budget android tablets were sold in the first six months at around £65 each. The Hudl 2 sold for around £100 but Tesco shoppers were able to use club card points and get the Hudl for just £60.
Tesco have given no explanation for discontinuing the Hudl 2 and many parents who were planning on getting Tesco's budget tablet for their kids this Christmas are desperately searching for alternative android budget tablets that will delight their kids without breaking the bank.
